Product Description
Sunflower creamy tahini is produced by stone-grinding hulled Bulgarian sunflower kernels into a smooth, pourable butter. Unlike sesame tahini, sunflower tahini has a mild, slightly nutty flavour with no bitterness, making it highly versatile in both food manufacturing and retail.
The product contains no additives, emulsifiers, or stabilisers — just pure ground sunflower seeds. Natural oil separation may occur and can be stirred back in. The high oil content (48–54%) ensures excellent spreadability and mouthfeel. It is suitable for use in energy bars, spreads, bakery fillings, sauces, and plant-based formulations.
All sunflower kernels are sourced from our own-grown or contracted Bulgarian crops, processed in our FSSC 22000-certified facility in Suvorovo, Varna region.
