1. Who We Are
This website is operated by Agros-98 AD, a Bulgarian agricultural company registered under Bulgarian law with VAT number BG208709219, headquartered at Industrial Zone, Suvorovo, Varna Province 9170, Bulgaria.
If you have questions about how we handle your data, contact us at: office@agros.net
2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data only when you voluntarily contact us. This includes:
- Contact information — name, company name, email address, phone number, and any message content you include when reaching out via email links on this website.
- Technical data — standard server logs may record your IP address, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes only.
We do not use tracking pixels, advertising cookies, or social media embeds that collect data without your action. We do not use Google Analytics or any similar analytics platform.
3. Map Provider (OpenStreetMap / CARTO)
Our Contact page includes an interactive map powered by Leaflet.js using map tiles from CARTO (which sources data from OpenStreetMap contributors). When the map loads, your browser makes requests to CARTO's tile servers, which may log your IP address as part of normal server operation. CARTO's privacy policy is available at carto.com/privacy.
4. How We Use Your Data
Contact information you submit is used solely to:
- Respond to your product inquiry, sample request, or quote request.
- Follow up on business correspondence you initiated.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, to respond to business inquiries — and, where relevant, to perform or prepare for a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
6. Data Retention
We retain business correspondence (including contact form messages sent via email) for as long as is necessary for the business purpose or as required by Bulgarian and EU law. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction — request that we restrict processing of your data.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Complaint — lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. In Bulgaria, this is the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP), www.cpdp.bg.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@agros.net. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
This website uses only a single functional cookie: a localStorage entry named agros_cookie_ok that records whether you have dismissed the cookie notice. No tracking cookies are set. No data from this entry is transmitted to any server.
The map on the Contact page may set session cookies from CARTO/OpenStreetMap tile servers when you interact with it. These are strictly necessary for map rendering.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will always indicate when changes were last made.
