Product Description
Cold-pressed pumpkin seed oil occupies a premium position in the speciality oils market. Pressed from hulled Cucurbita pepo seeds, it is characterised by a very dark, almost opaque green colour, an intense roasted-seed aroma, and a flavour profile that pairs well with strong cheeses, root vegetables, and robust salads.
Unlike the roasted variety common in Styrian production, our oil is cold-pressed without prior roasting, preserving the full complement of tocopherols, phytosterols, and the naturally occurring zinc compounds that make pumpkin seed oil a recognised functional ingredient for prostate health and urinary function claims in nutraceutical markets.
Production quantities are limited by seed availability. We press in small batches with careful attention to peroxide value, which is monitored at pressing and packaging. Dark glass with nitrogen flushing is standard.
