Product Description

Flaxseed creamy tahini is produced by stone-grinding whole Bulgarian flaxseed into a smooth, spreadable butter. It is one of the most nutritionally concentrated plant-based butters available, delivering an exceptional omega-3 (ALA) content of 50–60% of total fatty acids — far higher than any other common seed butter.

The flavour is earthy and slightly nutty, typical of flaxseed. The product is suitable for use in health food bars, functional spreads, smoothie bowls, and plant-based protein products. No additives, preservatives, or stabilisers are used.

Bulgarian flaxseed is grown on our own farmland under controlled conditions. All batches are tested for purity, FFA, peroxide value, and omega-3 content before dispatch.

Yes. Flaxseed tahini is high in fat and protein and very low in digestible carbohydrates. The majority of carbohydrate content is dietary fibre, making it a good fit for keto and low-carb formulations.
The omega-3 present is ALA (alpha-linolenic acid), a plant-based omega-3. ALA must be converted to EPA/DHA in the body at low efficiency. For omega-3 labelling purposes, ALA content and conversion rates should be disclosed per applicable regulation.
12 months unopened in a cool, dark place. Due to the high omega-3 content, this product is more oxidation-sensitive than sunflower tahini. Refrigerate after opening and consume within 4 weeks.
