Product Description
Coriander splits — known in trade as dhania dal — are produced by mechanically splitting whole coriander seeds along their natural seam. The result is two curved half-seeds with a large exposed surface area, which releases flavour compounds more quickly than whole seeds in both culinary and industrial extraction contexts.
We produce splits from the same Bulgarian coriander used in our whole seed program, cleaned and hulled to remove seed coats before final calibration. The product is widely used in the South Asian culinary export trade, spice blending, and in certain essential oil operations that prefer the pre-broken seed for faster steam distillation.
Packaging and documentation are identical to our whole coriander range, and splits can be supplied alongside whole seed from the same origin batch where traceability is required.
