Product Description
Brown flaxseed (Linum usitatissimum) from the Bulgarian northeast is harvested from loamy soils well-suited to linseed production. The crop delivers consistent oil content and a high proportion of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), the plant-based omega-3 fatty acid that drives demand across functional food, nutraceutical, and animal feed markets.
Our flaxseed is cleaned, screened for foreign matter, and calibrated before packing. Moisture is controlled to max 9% to ensure shelf life in big-bag formats. The material is tested per batch for oil content, moisture, and purity with COA issued accordingly. Brown flaxseed is the conventional workhorse of the flax trade. It is used in bread, muesli, energy bars, cold-press oil production, linseed meal production, and as a direct supplement ingredient. We supply in 25 kg paper bags for food-grade use and big bags for milling and feed applications.
